Lake Landscape
From Barbara Hammet's book Art Nouveau Cross Stitch. A friend was cleaning out her closet and found craft supplies she no longer used. Eager to clear the space, she asked if I was interested. Of course I was! Among the items was this book, with a canvas partly started. She liked design, started it, but lost interest. You can see her contribution in the top, right corner. So I finished it for her, it now hangs in her home.

Asian Scholar
I found this painted canvas at the Elephant's Trunk flea market in New Milford, CT. Unfortunately the design wasn't signed or attributed to an artist. I really liked it. The design itself is simple but potent. The most fun was choosing the colors. Rich blue tones compliment oranges and yellows.

Flowers
Hand-sewn counted cross-stitch from a pattern. The library offers so many resources. I found this book one day sifting through the craft section. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the title.

Ulee
Painted canvas by Barbara Russell. He looks just like my friend Todd's cat Ulysses. So it seems like a nice gift.
