Flesh for Worms at Vox Populi

If you're in the Philly area this week, check out an exhibition of Mark Stockton's new drawings in  at Vox Populi Gallery - A Selection of Popular Athletes, Canines and Entertainers.

Mark creates black and white portraits in delicate pencil strokes.  Playing with size and subject matter, these portraits focus your attention on the details of the faces, the expressions and poses. The faces are familiar, but the celebrity gets lost in the humanity.  These drawings are mesmerizing and thought provoking.

The opening reception will be on Nov. 5th from 6-11pm.
