The MPL Project is going to Figment

At the 2008 Figment Festival FIGMENT, the annual celebration of creative culture on Governors Island in New York Harbor. During the festival, the island is filled with sculpture, art and creative projects by local artists. The art and atmosphere combined with the beautiful views from the island make for a perfect summer kick-off.
The MPL Project will be participating to this year's event with the Mass Manifesting Mobile. Stay tuned for more details!
Figment is an annual arts event on Governors Island, with artwork in every medium, from installation to performance to music to games and many things in between. Participation is open to any artist who would like to share their work. It is a free, non-profit endeavor run by volunteers. In 2008, FIGMENT’s second year, over 10,000 people attended.
Governors Island is a former military base in New York Habor. It sits a mere 800 yards from Lower Manahattan aside Liberty Island and Ellis Island. Open from May - October, it functions as a state park. During this time, a free ferry provides transportation to and from lower Manhattan. It offers a bit of idyllic charm in the bustling sity.
