Shanghai Times Square
Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 11:45AM I recently finished another needlepoint.
The photo for this was taken during my first trip to Shanghai in 2006. Our hotel was actually along this strip.
Coming from NYC I thought I was pretty cosmopolitan (and I am!), but nothing prepared me for the size and spectacle that is Shanghai. Their Times Square area dwarfs the one I used to work in. The sheer amount of people commuting through this every day was unbelievable!
Coming back, suddenly New York didn't seem so big anymore.
